a space for understanding your inner world, healing old stories & becoming the person you were always meant to be

what is khair?

At Khair Therapy, our mission is to provide compassionate, culturally attuned mental health care that honors the complexity of each person’s story. We believe healing is not about becoming someone new, but about understanding ourselves more deeply, reconnecting with who we are, and creating a life that feels aligned with our values.

Inspired by the meaning of “khair” (خير)—a word rooted in goodness, well-being, benefit, and positive transformation—we strive to create a therapeutic space where individuals feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate the many seasons of life.

Our approach bridges Eastern wisdom and Western psychological practices, integrating evidence-based therapy with a deeper understanding of culture, identity, relationships, and the experiences that shape who we become. We recognize that healing is deeply personal and cannot be separated from the communities, traditions, and histories that influence us.

Through empathy, curiosity, and compassion, we help individuals explore their inner worlds, heal what they carry, and develop a stronger relationship with themselves. At Khair Therapy, we believe every person has the capacity for growth, resilience, and meaningful transformation.

FAQ

  • Diving into therapy for the first time I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but Nada made me feel welcome and created a safe space where I felt like I can bring up stuff that I’ve never spoken to others about. I’m looking forward to continuing my journey into therapy as well as self care, using the tools Nada has shared with me so that I’ll learn to apply them in my daily life. :)
